The 49ers are set to make an addition to their offensive teaching employees. ESPN’s Rob Demovsky on Friday reported Butch Barry would be joining San Francisco as an assistant offensive line coach.
Barry spent final season as a senior analyst for Inexperienced Bay the place he signed on forward of the 2020 marketing campaign. Previous to his stint with the Packers Barry was the offensive line coach on the College of Miami.
He made his teaching debut at Southwest Minnesota State in 2004 as their offensive line coach. From there he moved on to Michigan Tech in 2006 as an offensive line coach and finally grew to become their offensive coordinator. Then bounced to North Greenville College and again to Central Michigan the place he performed his school soccer and spent two years as a graduate assistant in 2002 and 2003.
Barry’s NFL teaching debut got here with the Buccaneers in 2015. He was the assistant OL coach for Tampa Bay for 4 years previous to taking the OL coach job with the College of Miami in 2019.
In San Francisco he’ll work beneath OL coach Chris Foerster who was an assistant OL coach on final 12 months’s employees.
