KIEV, January 29. /TASS/. Ukraine’s Ministry of Tradition and Data Coverage has added 5 extra Russian artists to the record of individuals posing a menace to the nation’s safety, the ministry’s press service knowledgeable on Friday.
The ministry knowledgeable that earlier, “the Ministry of Tradition and Data Coverage obtained letters from Ukraine’s Safety Service on together with Russian residents [Olga] Kormukhina, Olga Zasulskaya, Igor Sarukhanov, [Denis] Klyaver and Mark Tishman within the record of people posing a menace to nationwide safety.” “In accordance with the corresponding ordered of the Ministry of Tradition and Data Coverage, the Russian artists had been included on this record,” the message says.
Being placed on the Ministry of Tradition’s blacklist means a ban for displaying concert events, packages, movies and TV exhibits on Ukrainian tv with their participation, in addition to a journey ban to Ukraine. The ministry didn’t specify the explanations for such a choice.
On Monday, the Ukrainian Ministry of Tradition blacklisted Russian artists Yulia Glebova and Alyona Apina.
Earlier, the Ukrainian authorities issued a journey ban to over 150 Russian cultural figures, together with actor and director Nikita Mikhalkov, singers Alexander Rozenbaum and Lev Leshchenko, architect Zurab Tsereteli.
