Indoor eating, film theaters and leisure facilities in Alameda County are allowed to reopen Friday, marking the top of monthslong closures triggered by the coronavirus pandemic.
Although the county moved into the purple reopening tier final month and is now within the orange tier, it has opted for a slower reopening plan.
