Legislation Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad will host the Seventh Assembly of Ministers of Justice of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) on October 16, a press release from the Legislation Ministry stated on Monday.
The digital assembly can be attended by Legislation and Justice Ministers from China, Pakistan, Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyz Republic.
Within the backdrop of rising hostility with China and Pakistan, their participation assumes significance.
“Within the Seventh Assembly of the Ministers of Justice of the SCO, member-states shall additional deliberate on areas of cooperation, creating beneficial situations for resolving disputes and implementation of the Motion Plan of the Working Teams of Consultants on Forensic Actions and Authorized Providers. A Joint Assertion following the outcomes of the Seventh Session of the Ministers of Justice of the SCO member-states shall be signed,” the Legislation Ministry launch stated.
Secretary of the Division of Authorized Affairs, Anoop Kumar Mendiratta, will host the second assembly of the Consultants Working Group on Tuesday and Wednesday.
“The Consultants Working Group will focus on and share their experiences, finest practices and the novel steps taken by them for creating conducive setting for selling decision of disputes and different associated actions of the Ministries of [Law and] Justice together with authorized providers and forensic actions,” stated the discharge.
Following the assembly of the Legislation and Justice Ministers of the SCO members, there can be a First Knowledgeable Group Preparatory Assembly by means of video-conferencing on October 17 and 18.
