The United Manner of Cayuga County will maintain its third annual Private Care Drive Friday, Oct. 16, by way of Friday, Oct. 23.
The drive is for private care objects resembling shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and toothbrushes, mouthwash, dental floss, razors, shaving cream, hand and physique cleaning soap, laundry detergent, rest room paper, female merchandise, deodorant, diapers and wipes. All objects shall be donated to county meals pantries, soup kitchens and homeless shelters.
Drop-off websites shall be positioned at Bayside Grocery in Truthful Haven, Terry’s Meals Mart in Cato, Savannah Financial institution in Port Byron, Shurfine in Weedsport, Cayuga Lake Nationwide Financial institution in Union Springs and Aurora, King Ferry Nook Retailer in King Ferry, the publish workplace in Moravia and the Cayuga County Chamber of Commerce and a number of other extra places in Auburn.
There may even be drive-thru collections Saturday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m. to three p.m. at Auburn Excessive College, 250 Lake Ave., Auburn; and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Terry’s Meals Mart, 2554 E. Major St., Cato; Cayuga Lake Nationwide Financial institution, 165 Cayuga St., Union Springs; and 10-10 BBQ, Moravia.
